Mr Yeo Kan Yen, Alvin
Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer

Mr Yeo was appointed as Executive Director on 23 March 2009. Mr Yeo is also the Chief Operating Officer of the Company.

Mr Yeo joined CarrierNet Corporation (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. as Sales and Marketing Director on 2 October 2006, and was subsequently promoted to Managing Director on 1 November 2007. Mr Yeo is responsible for the overall general management, operational and strategic planning, sales and marketing activities of the Company.

In his previous employment as the Chief Operating Officer of PT Altasat Solusindo, (a licensed VoIP company in Indonesia), Mr Yeo brought PT Altasat to full operations with 9 points of presence in Indonesia, Singapore and Hong Kong, and was instrumental in spearheading prepaid and postpaid consumer voice products sales within the region. He also worked as System Integrator in the region with projects in Singapore, Malaysia and China.

Mr Yeo holds a Bachelor in Business Administration (Accounting) from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and Masters in Information System Management from Hawaii Pacific University.



Mr Foo Meng Tong
Independent Director

Mr Foo was appointed as Independent Director of the Company on 15 January 2002.

Mr Foo worked in the Economic Development Board ("EDB") for a total of 26 years until April 1993. His last appointment at the EDB was as the Director of its industry Development Division and the General Manager of EDB Investments Pte Ltd. He was also the administrator of the Skills Development Fund from 1980 to 1986. He has served overseas as the Regional Director of EDB's offices in Europe (based in Paris) and North America (based in New York). From 1994 to 1997, Mr Foo was Singapore's Ambassador to France with concurrent accreditations to Spain, Portugal, Switzerland (from 1994 to 1997) and Israel (from 1996 to 1997).

Mr Foo holds directorships in several other public-listed companies in Singapore, including DMX Technologies Group Ltd and Fischer Tech Ltd.

Mr Foo holds a professional Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Singapore Polytechnic and has attended the Stanford Executive Program at Stanford University, USA, in 1985. He is a fellow of the Institution of Engineers, Singapore.



Mr Lew Syn Pau
Independent Director

Mr Lew was appointed an Independent Director of the Company on 15 January 2002. He also assumes the role of the Board Chairman.

His career started in the Singapore Government Administrative Service from which he was seconded to the National Trades Union Congress ("NTUC"). He was the Executive Secretary of The Metal Industries Workers' Union from 1981 to 1982 and 1984 to 1989. From 1987 to 1993, he was the General Manager and subsequently the Managing Director of NTUC Comfort Holdings Ltd. During this period, he was concurrently the General Manager of NTUC Pasir Ris Resort from 1989 to 1991, the Managing Director of General Automotive Services Pte Ltd from 1990 to 1993, the Assistant Secretary- General of NTUC from 1990 to 1994 and the Executive Director of NTUC Fairprice Co-operative Ltd from 1993 to 1994.

He joined Banque Indosuez (now known as Calyon) in 1994 as General Manager and was Senior Country Officer from 1994 to 1997.

Mr Lew was a Member of the Singapore Parliament from 1988 to 2001. He was the Chairman of the Government Parliamentary Committees for National Development, Education, Finance and Trade and Industry.

He is currently the Chairman of Stanbridge International Pte Ltd and Director of Capital Connections Pte Ltd. He holds directorships in several other public-listed companies in Singapore.

A Singapore government scholar, Mr Lew holds a Master of Engineering from Cambridge University, UK and a Master of Business Administration from Stanford University, USA.



Mr Quah Siew Heng
Independent Director

Mr Quah was appointed as an Independent Director of the Company on 1 June 2008.

He is currently the CEO of Neue Lab Pte Ltd.

He has more than 15 years of experience at the senior management level in IBM ASEAN/SA, IBM Singapore, Atos Origin Asia Pacific and Atos Origin ASEAN. Atos Origin is an European IT services MNC with sales revenue of USD 7 billion and more than 46,000 people in over 40 countries.

Prior to leaving Atos Origin in October 2007, Mr Quah was the Vice President, Consulting & System Integration for Asia Pacific. He had previously been the Managing Director for the ASEAN region from 1997 to 2006 and had held the position of acting Asia Pacific COO in 2000. From a sector perspective, he has significant experience in the Industrial, Government, Finance and Telecommunications sectors.

As the senior management, Mr Quah had overall business and operations responsibilities with focus on charting the strategic direction for the region, managing the P&L results and new IT services business development.

Prior to joining Atos Origin, he was the Services Business Executive in IBM Singapore from 1996 to 1997 with responsibilities for all the IT services business in Singapore. The range of services business included product support services, network services, SI services and outsourcing services. His other previous assignments in IBM included the roles of ASEAN Manager for the Healthcare Industry from 1995 to 1996 and he was a Marketing Manager for Government and Healthcare accounts from 1993 to 1994.

Mr Quah served for 6 years from 2001 to 2007 as a member of the Board of Directors for Oculus Ltd, a public listed company of the Singapore Stock Exchange. He had served, at various times, as the Chairman of the Audit Committee, the Nominating Committee and the Remuneration Committee.

Mr Quah holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering and an MBA from the National University of Singapore. He has also attended executive courses in leading business schools, like Harvard Business School, Thunderbird School of Business and Stanford University School of Business.
